‘Tooth on Wheels’ is mobile dental service which provides dental treatment and facilities at doorsteps. Recently, the dental check-up camp was conducted at WittyFeed office, Indore, which was focussed on minimising the dental diseases risks by identifying them and treating them by preventive approaches.
According to the dental operators, preventive and maintenance dental care reduces the chances of serious problems for any individual by 80% to 90%. This in turn automatically reduces the amount they would need to shell out for dental treatment.
The camp also covered oral cancer screening, tobacco cessation counseling and provided valuable information about oral cancer and how it is slowly penetrating in our daily life.
The unique tobacco cessation therapy, which uses nicotine transdermal patches as an aid to quit tobacco, was introduced and it inspired many to quit the habit of smoking and tobacco chewing as well.
This dental camp was organised with the motive of identifying and rectifying the dental needs of WittyFeedians. Most of the staff members shared that the time constraint is major problem nowadays so dental check-up and treatment camps like Tooth on Wheels is much appreciated. There was no doubt that the camp which was conducted within the office premise helped the employees meet their dental needs without investing much time.
WitttyFeed staffs who attended dental camp were of the age group 20-30. Dental team provided them with basic dental treatments like dental cleaning, polishing and dental fillings etc.
Also WittyFeedians were made aware of the scientific methods of cleaning teeth, tooth brushing techniques, flossing and the proper use of mouthwash.
